The Shadyside Blues Band had its beginning in the winter of 2004-2005 when Charlie Clark of Jamestown and Tim Cudney of Fredonia New York began their quest to assemble a group of musicians who enjoyed playing the blues. Charlie, vocalist and Tim, bassist added Tony Flaminio on guitar and started looking at percussionists and additional sidemen. Keyboard player John Armstrong joined in November of 2005 while drummer Don Ross rounded out the group in January 2006.
