Charlie "Big C" Clark
Harmonica, Vocals
Charlie is a native of Jamestown and has a forty year history of playing in the area. A drummer with many local groups, Charlie always searched for the right blues groove. Early in 2005 he got together with bass player Tim Cudney to put together the "right" people to play blues. After over a year of fits and starts his personal mission is complete. Shadyside Blues Band, Charlie's baby wherein dwells his soul.

Mike Comitz - Bass, Vocals
Mike Comitz recently joined the Shadyside Blues Band as bassist. Born in Erie and now a resident of Corry he started playing professionally in 1978. He has played with a number of bands from country and western to hard rock. He has sat in with local and regional groups including Earthquakers, Ozone Rangers, The Raiders, The Blues Beaters, Antyx and Coyote Joe. His early steady gigs included stints with Country Wranglers that opened for Whispering Bill Adnerson and The Nashville All Stars. Later he played with Lonestar Band, Billy the Kid and the Outlaws. He also did some work with the local blues band, Atomic Chili. In addition to playing with The Shadyside Blues Band he is in his eleventh year with the classic rock band, Big Brother Bob. His appearance with the Shadyside Blues Band is a perfect fit.

Tony Flaminio - Guitar, Vocals
Tony, born and raised in Buffalo New York, began playing guitar at the age of five. Due to his father’s influence he studied under some of the best teachers the city had to offer. At the age of fourteen he was in his first band and realized he would never stop performing. Over the years he has played with many very successful bands including Arlanza, Southern Tier Express, Coyote Joe and Antyx. He has shared the stage with may musicians most people only dream about including Willie Nelson, The Outlaws, Charlie Daniels and Dixie All-Stars. His most memorable was a Thanksgiving Day with the Allman Brothers Band. Along with his talents on the stage Tony is a well-known live venue sound engineer who credits include heading up sound for the first MTV Spring Break. He is a guitar player you have to see play the blues!

Don Ross - Drums, Vocals
Don is a self-taught drummer who started playing at the age of twelve and hasn’t stopped since. He started playing in the Baltimore area in R&B and funk bands at dances, parties, nightclubs, cabarets, and on excursion boats. He also played in the Carolinas before relocating to WNY and playing with a number of blues and classic rock bands in the area. Don is a seasoned performer and studio musician who lends harmonious background vocals and plays all percussion instruments. Over the years, he has also had the opportunity to perform jazz, pop, country, alternative, metal and reggae music. He is proficient at all and enjoys the opportunity to play in a variety of styles. Some influences and interests include Billy Cobham, John Bonham, Neal Peart, Buddy Rich, Harvey Mason, BB King, SRV, Clapton, Santana, Zeppelin, Carter Beauford, and Hendrix.

Shawn Huestis is a musician/ songwriter from the Jamestown area, and has been playing throughout western New York since 1990. He has played with several area bands, engaging in styles ranging from rock, jazz, blues, classical and original music. He also moonlights with the B-side classic rock group, "The Cowards," and in the eight piece horn rock band, "Midnight Traffic."
Huestis met up with Don Ross in the short-lived blues band "The Barn Dogs," and recruited Ross for a stint in the Cowards. Huestis, in turn, was called upon by Ross in the spring of 2006 to join "The Shadyside Blues Band" and has been loving every music-making moment since.
Huestis lives in Fredonia with his wife and little girl, and teaches music in a local public school.
